winter sleepout

each year revolution sets a friday night aside to raise money and awareness of local and global issues through having a massive sleep out.
in September 2009 it was on again. of course we had a lot of fun having a big sleep over but we also raised money for a World Vision who are really good at empowering and serving others while spreading the word of God to others around Australia, and the world.

is this the first time revolution has done something like this?
by no means!!! revolution has a generous history of partnering with various mission organisations, advocating and raising money for those all over the world who don’t have basic human rights.
in 2007 we raised more than $5000 to stop child trafficking.
in 2006 we raised money for our church’s ongoing mission work in Burma.
in 2005 we were able to contribute to four different orphanages in Burma in the areas of emergency relief‚ education‚ and sustainable farming.
revolution has had a strong connection with mission over the past number of years and the winter sleepout has been one of the main forums for making this happen. below are details of the last number of years:
